Objectives
To utilise an analytical and critical approach to the range of methods, processes and problems involved in clinical research; to identify and analyse appropriate areas and approaches for clinical research in relation to their own profession; to demonstrate a understanding of the place of statistics in research; to understand confidentiality, ethical and legal issues associated with the process.
Syllabus
Approaching research; research design; evaluation of the range of methods available; data recording and presentation; displaying data; significance tests; research in practice; implementing research findings.
